?Why do you need static IP addresses. I use a router with the 'old basestation' in bridge configuration.2 Apples connected by ethernet and 4 connected by airport. All are set to 'DHCP' and get there IP address from the router. This configuration allows sharing of everything. Although the IPs sent from the computer could change If I unhooked some cables or took a machine offline in actual use for over 7months they have not.
