Maybe I'm missing something, but my router (an Asante FR3004) says
nothing at all in the manual about AppleTalk, and yet it allows my
appletalk printer (which is hooked up to a machine running OS 9 and
LocalTalk Bridge software) to be seen by the other two macs on the
network. After all, the local network simply makes use of the 4-port
switch portion of the router, which is ethernet, and appletalk over
ethernet is certainly supported.
