hello all

cisco routers need ios installed to do their magic.

u can buy with or without appletalk as part of it.
but u can also buy it with or without ipx for novell bridging and with or
without tcpip for internet bridging.

how do i know. cause our newly mergered school district has just this setup.

half the division is mac. so our wan in half routes appletalk. half of our
division is windows and novell and its same typed routers have ipx routing.
both have tcpip routing. so what i will accomplish in the near future is to
try to set up the other half like this half. and send high speed internet
thru the wan to the outer buildings. so far its partially complete. if i
wanted to add appletalk to those routers i would have to buy an ios upgrade.
