I have an Airport (snow) with a LAN and a WAN port.

I have the LAN port connected to a Ethernet hub which is also connected to
another hub. There are Macs connected to both hubs. Like below:

5 port hub-----5 port hub-----Airport

When I connect to the internet using Airport (dial up modem in A/P) all the
Macs can use the same connection. How can I turn this off for some Macs and
not others?

Also, some Macs show up under Local Network and others show up under
AppleTalk in the Network Browser. Two of the Macs connected are OS X and the
rest are OS 9.x.

Should I be using the WAN port for something? Would that help if I did?

Is there an ideal way to connect hubs to the Airport?

Thanks,
Byron
