AppleShare over IP included I presume... oh well, back to the drawing board.
I'm fresh out of ideas now. I would prefer to use Mac OS on these machines. The only other option I am aware of, if we cannot get this to work, is to boot into some UNIX variant, such as MkLinux, which supports long file names and Mac OS X can mount the drive over the network (as far as I've read).
