iPod to be sold at Best Buy

The on-again, off-again retailer of Apple products is back
Apple and Best Buy have announced that the iPod, Apple''s "wildly popular" portable
digital music player, will be available at all Best Buy retail locations and online
beginning September 15.
"We''re thrilled to be working with Best Buy to bring the iPod to even more
customers," said Tim Cook, executive vice president, worldwide wales and operations.
"The award-winning iPod is already a huge success, and now it''s available to Best Buy
customers everywhere."
Best Buy will offer three iPod configurations in their retail stores -- the 10GB iPod
for Windows, the 20GB iPod for Windows and the 10GB iPod for Mac -- as well as the
entire line of iPod portable digital music players on their commercial website.
Analysis: The press release mentions only the iPod and not other Apple products. Given
BB''s historically pathetic Mac support, it''s highly unlikely we''ll see
Apple-branded computers back their any time soon.
