X-quest: Bereskin''s blog highlights Jaguar features

Looking for insider tips? Apple''s top ''X man'' has the dish you need

Ken Bereskin, product manager, Mac OS X, has posted a web log, or "blog" as they are
commonly known, that details the numerous new features in Jaguar. Though he is only a
couple weeks into the effort, the blog already contains several nifty tips, like how
to use X.2''s vastly improved screen-capture utility including info on how to use the
feature from the command line.

Another set of tips talks about the much-improved Character Palatte included in
Jaguar. For example, did you know that by using this feature you can view any
character in a font -- glyphs, accents, letters, etc. From Unicode to Apple''s nFonts,
all is revealed. That''s pretty slick!

Editor''s note: Apple has done much of late to irk users, but Bereskin''s blog and the
chewy goodness included therein is yet another example of why we love them. Can you
imagine a Steve Balmer blog? Perish the thought...
