With repaired Java support and improved IMAP mail performance, this open source
browser gains important functionality
Mozilla 1.2 has been finalized and is available for download. Java compatibility under
X.2 has been repaired and major improvements to Mac OS X IMAP mail header download
performance has been added.
Mozilla 1.2's new Type Ahead Find feature that offers faster navigation when the user
types a succession of characters in the browser, matching the text in one or more
links on the page. Mail also has a new "filter after the fact" capability so users can
create a filter, and then run that filter on already downloaded mail.
Mozilla 1.2 runs under Classic (8.5 or higher) and X. It can be downloaded here.
