Intuit ships QuickBook Pro 5 for OS X

This week Intuit officially lets QuickBook Pro 5 out of the gate
One of two most popular small business accounting software is once again available for
Mac OS. Following the successful introduction of MYOB Account Edge, Intuit revived
QuickBooks with a new Mac OS X version QuickBooks Pro 5.

enthusiastically choosing QuickBooks," said Cary Rosenzweig, Business Leader,
Macintosh Products, Intuit. "Our dedicated QuickBooks for Mac team is committed to
supporting the Mac small business community and we're looking forward to providing
these customers with the essential and easy-to-use tools they need to run their
businesses now and in the future."
QuickBooks 5 boasts a completely redesigned OS X look and feel. Users can create,
customize and email reports, statements and invoices, track expenses and organize
their business finances all in one place. QuickBooks also offers customizable forms
such as invoices, cash sales receipts, estimates and purchase orders by changing
fonts, adding a company logo or modifying the layout. Other features include a new
Report Finder to quickly and easily select the report or graph, the ability to save
reports, invoices and statements as PDF files. Added payroll functionality through Top
Pay v12 and other employee functions such as payroll deductions, vacation, sick and
holiday time.
QuickBooks Pro Editiion 5.0 for Mac OS is available now for a suggested retail price
of $299.95. An upgrade is available for existing customers for $179.95 through a $120
rebate.
