What is cromulent? I can't find it in any of my dictionaries.

So cromulent is a new invented slang word. It does not exist in Websters
International Dictionary, or the unabridged OED.
The whole point of using the word "cromulent" is to try and bring some
levity into the conversation (it's a Simpson's reference for pete's
sake).

So who watches the Simpson's? When I want to know the definition of a word I use a quality dictionary. I don't look it up in the Simpson's.

At least irregardless appears in regular dictionaries and has been in misuse
for the last century. Using a newly made up word to discredit a misused word
is ridiculous.
Note that the person using the term "cromulent" and the person
criticizing the use of "irregardless" are two different people.

And your point is? They are both criticising the use of irregardless.
