I set the encryption to "Auto" and that allowed me to connect to the VPN over AT&T's 3G network. Interestingly, this shows up in the log: Sat Dec 18 10:14:37 2010 : MPPE 128-bit stateless compression enabled -- Wife: Who are you talking to?
