I got tired of remembering how to do this for Safari, so I just
installed a third-party System Preference named Default Apps. Click
on the URL tab and you can define any app you want to handle any
file suffix you want.
To precise that: The name is RCDefaultApp, and you get it here: "http://www.rubicode.com/Software/RCDefaultApp/
