(regarding today's announcements)
does "Lion" somehow ring better to a younger generation? to me it falls
really flat as a name; maybe it's all those Rastas i used to hang out
with -- Jah Lion, the bombastic, stream-of-consciousness OS ...
the app store, Launch Pad, etc. feel like a big risk to me; i think
Apple is several creative leaps short of the object-oriented OS that
this tries to be; it may work for consumers, but i'll be surprised if it
were conceptually consistent enough to satisfy people who fully
internalize the structure of an OS
