I really think this is overreacting. Some apps do work better as full-screen single task apps. iPhoto and iMovie are perfect example of this. Heck, even GarageBand I suspect. On the other hand, Mail is not a full-screen single task app for me, but it is for my wife. On the other hand, Pages is a perfect single task full screen app for me, but is not for my wife who is constantly having to reference other papers she's written (or other paper's others have written) for all her graduate classes. -- "Is that a star?"
