I had a Magic Mouse for my MacPro in my studio, but replaced it with a Magic 
Trackpad

I even use an MT with my MBPro - so that I can position the pad where I wish.

Have a Magic Trackpad for my iMac 27, too

can't live without -

once you go Magic Trackpad, you never go back
