Funny. I didn't consider EOF to be legacy, and I still don't consider
PPC to be legacy. I'm sure other people depended on DBKit at one
point.

Apple seems to seriously be: Upgrade your system (OS) at least every
two years, and your hardware at least every 6. Expect everything you
depend on to change completely every 4-8. Nothing will continue
unchanged; do not depend on any apple technology for long term
solutions.

Frankly, the only reason I'm still using Apple is because I consider
its only true desktop competition (Microsoft Windows) to have an even
lower reputation/reliability factor.
