Can someone please tell me how to do audio switching in iTunes or else suggest
some other software that will conveniently allow me to choose one (or more) of
the audio sources?

Hidden gem: If you hold down the Opt key while clicking the speaker icon in the
menu bar, you can select from any of your outputs really fast - no need for a
trip to Sound preferences.

I have speakers connected through the headphone port, headphones connected to a
USB headphone amp, and an Airport Express pumping audio to the home stereo over
wifi - I can toggle between them very easily with this trick. No need for 3rd
party software or even to get iTunes involved in the equation.
