Maybe that was with Lion, though, since I only upgraded to Mountain Lion a few months ago (and I'm not sure I tried the Airport Express since then). I did restart many times, both the computer and the Airport Express. I also held in the reset button for 10-15 seconds several times, until getting flashing lights, but it still never showed up in the Airport Utility, even though the router sees it. Oh well, I don't use it much, so it's not a big deal.
