I know this isn't the forum but frankly where is?

Five months ago I buy OSX 10.0. I install it, run it and then switch
back to OS 9 because there is no software for OSX and none of the
external hardware I use have drivers which run under OSX, coupled
with the almost beta like performance and I think 'well give these
guys a chance they're working on it'. Then June-ish out comes update
10.0.4. Still no software and still no peripherals, still beta like,
still using OS 9 and still thinking 'well give these guys a chance
they're working on it', all the while Apple is touting the benefits
of the next update.
It comes and Apple generously offers to sell it to me for $19.95. How
kind of them, I honestly had to check I hadn't gone to the microsoft
update pages by mistake, I mean we're talking 10.0.x to 10.1 here. In
other words the missing parts of the OS that they couldn't finish in
time for the published release date. Is this a sign of things to come?
