I'm just happy that: - Apple is still around. - Apple decided to go with a BSD layer. - Apple decided to support Unix developers. - Apple got an upgrade to the system in time to make it look like Apple has been doing this twice as long as Windows XP. - Apple supported important standards before they're truly ubiquitous (XML-RPC, WebDav, and SOAP). - And so on and so forth. About the only thing I'm mad at for Apple is: - They won't realize this is a perfect time to make a Pentium based version of their software. People are looking for alternatives to Windows, but are too damn scared to go to Linux. I still can't comprehend the 'our hardware is better' love. When 7.5 came out, I pirated it. When 8.0 and all its siblings came out, I pirated it. When 8.0 came out, I paid for it because Apple was in a crunch. 9.0 was useless, so I pirated it.
