Well at this point I'm going to have to back down and say that it's
not working on my system either. I can write simple mod_perl scripts
that do cookie things with Apache::Cookie or I can write simple
scripts that do request things with Apache::Request buuuut when I try
and use both in the same script, bang, the whole thing falls down
with the errors that folks have reported in this thread. My guess is
that this would also come tumbling down if one were to have two
separate scripts loaded up with Apache::Registry so I can see where
this would cause pain in a production level system. I guess if I had
been paying closer attention to what was being said I would have seen
this one coming.

I would suspect that this could be fixed with the whole two level
name space thing that Apple uses but that's over my head. I'm just a
lowly perl jockey.
C in all its various incarnations gives me a headache.
