Just about everyone goes through this once (or twice if they forget the first time!)

With the switch from mac os to  *nix os, the default line ending is one of the things 
that can throw a monkey in the works ;-)

The server sees a single line with your entire cgi program on it, and has no idea what 
it means!

Figured I'd just elaborate for the benefit of the archive...
