Well I think it hosed my MySql install, so I'd be
careful. 
concurrently I installed a couple of fink binaries and
the 10.1.5 upgrade. After this mysqld would not run. I
had to re-install it. Given than the fink binaries
were just perm modules, I suspect the problem was the
system update.
