It would be great if I could hit the space bar to page through a doc pane, as that's the way I've grown accustomed to paging through them.

Good idea - I'll look into that. Pgup and Pgdn work, although you have to click somewhere in the text view first, to give it keyboard focus. It shouldn't be too difficult to connect the space bar to the Pgdn function.

Is it possible to view the pod in a file that's not in the perl library directories? The following didn't work from the command line:

open -a ShuX Foo/Bar.pm

Maybe this is something that would be simple to add using CB 0.3?

I actually got started on that - you'll notice that there's a File/Open... menu item, but it's disabled. That, and opening a POD by double-clicking on it in Finder, was often dumping core - too buggy for this release.

Good idea about the command-line switch, though - it'll go on the TODO list.

I also seem to have a horizontal blue-&-white barber pole stuck at the bottom of the window, should that disappear or turn solid blue when ShuX isn't chewing on something? It sort of makes me think it's frozen. Of course, that's just a nit.

This is a Mac app - nits count. ;-)

I just did some quick experimenting, and I found that I can pretty easily turn the barber-pole effect on and off. When it's off, the progress bar turns into a slightly-shaded grey box. It's on the TODO list.

"But i don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad, You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."
