I am wondering if you are having the same problem I am.  I keep finding
perl modules where the developer has made no allowance for the mixture of
32 bit and 64 bit Macs, and then the binaries won't compile.

I have no good workaround, I am not enough of a Makefile expert to fix the
flags.
