[MacPerl] Perl as a simple server?

I seem to recall hearing about be able to use Perl as a simple 
web-type server, which runs on a local machine and is able to deliver 
limited content. Does anyone know where I may obtain such code?

Or on the other hand, if anyone knows where I can obtain a Mac OS 
(classic) httpd daemon, I'd appreciate that too. (For being able to 
develop and test custom CGI-bin apps.)
