Yes, Chris, this MacPerl works, and I have to thank you.
I testet it "thoroughly" :-) by means of the standard testing program:
   print "hallo world";

Well: Because some people use MacOS 9.0., maybe you should ship the above
version; or people should select: "Mac 9.0", "Mac 9.1".
