OK, MacPerl 5.6.1a4 is released (the "a" stands for alpha!) and the source
and binaries are available online. See the development site for downloads
and more information.

Note the new URL, and note that the build instructions have changed
slightly (all the source is in one archive now).
I'll be gone at The Perl Conference next week, and on vacation a little bit
after that; feel free to file bug reports and test in the meantime. Thanks,
