Here's my take. A little "tough love"... hope that's okay.

1) Reversed out type on a dark background looks designer-y, but for
large amounts of body copy, it's hard to read. Black (or dark grey) on
a white or light background is much easier on the eyes.

2) The fancy fonts and letterforms for "Slammer" and "Designer's
Geometry Box" are way too fancy to be legible. At first blush,
"SLAMMER" looks like "SLMER", and it took me way, way too long to
discern "Designer's Geometry Box". Display fonts like the one(s) you
used are best reserved for the initial character of a name and that's
about it.

3) Overall, I'm struggling to understand the hierarchy of information
on the page... The Buy and Download buttons are kind of floating off
on their own; the "Overheard" I think is supposed to be a sidebar, but
there's little to no visual differentiation between the sidebar and
the background, and the sidebar and the main body; I'm not sure what
the "On Layout" and "jSlammer" sections are at the bottom... they're
kind of an afterthought and don't know how they tie into the overall
page.

4) The footer with all the blog and Twitter stuff looks kinda "bolted
on". I wonder what he clickthrough rate is for all that stuff... you
may want to drop it from there and make a separate page for all that.
If you're using Google Analytics, the site overlay tool will show you
what people want.

As with any site redesign, I recommend looking at your stats. What are
people looking at? What are people looking for? Put it up front and
easy for them to find. Everything should follow the Rule of 3's:
        — 3 content sections of the page (body header, body, sidebar)
        — 3 pages (max) of content per item (overview, detail/features,
screenshots)
        — 3 clicks (max) to find what you want from the home page

Hope this helps,
- Mike
