Greets all. I had to send my MBP2,2 in because of a couple things, that
crapy matshita drive being one of them. They sent me a new one with an LG
drive in it. Haven't tested write strategies yet but anything has to be
better that that Matshita. Anyhoo...
refit is taking a good 10 seconds or longer to come up. It's acting like
there is a disk in the drive. The Matshita did this but only when a CD was
present. Now refit just takes forever regardless with this new macbook
pro... Don't know if this is a hardware or software problem.
Anyone else have similar problems and know of a possible solution? It's
REALLY irritating waiting so long to boot my computer.
