Hi,

I have a macbook and want to attach an eternal monitor; initially the
monitor appears to get output but complains that the resolution doesn't
match (if I flip the desktop I get a condensed view but can't change
it to anything useful).

I have Fedora Core 6, which installed out of the box; editng xorg.conf
dind't do it for me. OTOH, since the hardware is pretty predictable, is
there a general howto of sorts? I couldn't google anything up.

(a clone is good enough for me)
