I'd be willing to take any 2.6.20 config that works on the original MacBook. I've been using 2.6.17.6 for a long time, but finally decided I wanted to get the speakers working. Two different 2.6.20.6 configs based on my working 2.6.17.6 have not worked. The first kernel panicked when it couldn't find root device and the second said something about EBDA overlapping the second stage of LILO and stalled even sooner.
