Also, I guess I'm not sure what your thinking about here... As far as I'm
aware, over/under clocking is strictly software/driver implemented. I don't
think you can rewrite the gpu's bios clock values permanently... Well, you
might be able to but, not very easily. That woud really be a hardware
modification that only the manufacturer or possibly distributor could do.
Don't know tho...

ATI can't even make a decent driver for Linux, they sure aren't going to
spend time on making an overclocking utility for Linux. A third party is
going to have to 'port' ATI Tray Tools to Linux or one of the other
utilities that exist for ATI cards, or write one from scratch in order for
over/under clocking to be possible in Linux.

I think we have a better chance of seeing pigs fly personally...
