Well, i can only relate to my experience with a borrowed intel mac
mini. Once the connector to the monitor fell out. I didn't notice it
other than that all of a sudden, the machine came to a grinding halt,
or almost so, it slowed down to a crawl with loads of "busys" all over
the place. For some reason i searched my desktop for something and
noticed that the connector to the monitor had fallen out of its
adapter that still was hooked to the Mini. I plugged the connector in,
and the machine returned to normal.
