Hi Scott and Rayna,

Yes, use VO-Shift-M after selecting the song or songs and choose "Buy
or Get Currently Selected Songs" to purchase your song selection. I
think the issue is that if you don't route your mouse cursor to the
price (VO-Command-F5) before clicking your selection (VO-Shift-Space)
you're clicking in some arbitrary location. You can also change your
preferences, (Command-comma) to use a shopping cart, as Scott does.
These discussion posts were made in the period before the posts on the
new list were being archived, so I couldn't just point you to the
instructions. Under the Store preferences you can choose the radio
button to use a shopping cart instead of buy with one-click (the
default). Dismiss the preferences window with Command-W when you're
done. The Shopping Cart is another item in the sources table below
the selection for the iTunes Store, and allows you to review purchase
contents by selecting it, and then examining contents when you tab to
its "songs table".

You can practice your purchase on one of the free discovery downloads
for the U.S. Store:

http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?id=314654865

When you click on the above link, or copy it, paste it into your web
browser and press return (Command-C, Command-L, Command-V, return); it
will open up iTunes at the iTunes Store page for that song or album.

Tab to the Songs outline to view the free track ("Light through the
Veins" by Jon Hopkins). If you VO-up arrow from the songs outline
you'll be in the HTML area. Interact and read the descriptions.

Here's the same song as part of an album. In this link, the actual
song is specified within the album, so when you check iTunes your
focus should be on the (free) song in that album in the songs table.
When you VO-Up arrow to the HTML area you get the album information
and the button to purchase the album.

http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?i=312718564&id=312718542

Searches for specific tracks in the iTunes Store using the power
search, with the pop up button set to "Music", work the same way. If
you select an album, the description is in the HTML area. If you stop
interacting and VO-down arrow to the songs table, you'll see the
individual tracks, and can purchase them one by one.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Esther
