There is an optacon users list which anyone can subscribe to as follows:
send a blank message to:

optacon-l-requ...@freelists.org  and put the word "subscribe" (without  
quotes) in the message subject.

If you look at the bottom of every message from the list you will see  
the unsubscribe information.  The only difference is the subject of  
the message where you would put the word unsubscribe in the subject to  
unsubscribe or subscribe in the subject if you wish to subscribe.

The optacon 2, which is the one that could be made to work with a  
computer, was much less successful than the optacon 1 because of the  
reduced number of pins in the array.
