Hello Scott.

I switched to the Mac because I had a row with Sight and Sound, the only dealer
in the UK who sells Jaws. At that particular time, I was using windows XP, or
Windows 7, can't remember. Anyway, what ever the operating system, I was
losing ILM Lives for Jaws and I must have made a hundred requests for my
licence to reset but whatever the case, one day I was refused a reset of Jaws
so I called up Sight and Sound and had a row with them and vowed to switch to
the Mac as I was told that if I put windows on the Mac, I'd never lose a Jaws
life again!

Well in 2010 I made the switch and did put Windows on the Mac but for some
reason this year I do not have Windows on my I Mac. I do quite well at home
with no windows. At work, I have to use Windows to do my job as I'm a Braille
transcriber but transcribe for the largest Blind and Partially sighted charity
in the UK. So in a sense, I still have both worlds but once a day or twice a
day at work, my Work Windows machine crashes or I lose JAWS speech. At home, I
am free of all this and use Voice Over which is very stable and I enjoy using
the Mac very much.

Kawal.
