Also, a minor correction: to see what's selected, it's VO+F6, not VO+6.

Hi,

In addition to what folks have mentioned here, I'll add that it is
unnecessary to turn Cursor Tracking off. When you press VO-cmd-return, that
command handles all your cursor needs and will re-activate proper tracking
once you go up to a menu item or Stop Interacting etc.

Later.

Hi Chris,

You can use vo+command+enter to go into multiple selection mode. To select
items, move down the list or table, and press vo+command+enter once in the
mode on each item you want to select. Vo+6 says what's currently selected.
If you want to unselect something, do vo+command+enter again while the VO
cursor is on the item.

Hope this helps.

Subject: Selecting multiple nonsequential items in Mavericks

Hi folks,
I was perfectly happy working in Mountain lion until I found out the latest
GarageBand update could only be obtained by upgrading to Mavericks. Usually
I wait until at least the third iteration before I upgrade. Mavericks 10.9.3
seems to be more buggy than the final version of mountain lion overall, but
there is one thing that is driving me nuts. I can no longer go into a
folder, select an item, turn cursor tracking off, hit my down arrow a couple
of times to another item, press voiceover-command-spacebar and have that
item selected along with the first one. I get in actions menu. Pressing
confirm does nothing, and the other options don't seem relevant. How do you
select non-sequential multiple items in a folder? Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
Friendly,
Chris
