I am pretty sure you are looking for an NTSC box, but I am not totally certain. Still, a cheap monitor these days can't be much, especially an older one. You will probably need a Mini Display to VGA converter if you get the NTSC box or an old monitor, just FYI That adapter says Mini Display, but it is the same as Thunderbolt and hooks up to that jack on the Mac Mini.
