Still an issue on the latest Mini, unfortunately. When I used to have a KVM I was in a much better place, but now I need the Thunderbolt port long-term, so I just reluctantly put up with it. It only affects the window server; other processes ought to be fine, including server services that continue to run while you are logged out. But it's still a bloody nuisance.
