Hi.

This is an interesting thread. Now I ask a silly question. I have an external 
soundcard, this is the firewire mbox from avid, it is a very good sounding 
device, but rather inaccessible, so I will not recommend it.

I have tried with some cheap devices, but I found the internal soundcard in the 
mac better or at least as good as these external sound cards. I do not say, 
that I do not recommend them, but are there any real difference. I can hear a 
difference on my inaccessible mbox, but what are your experiences here.
