I do not use Asus at the moment, but have been near a push at the buy button because they have headphone amplifier with volume control and audio/mic input i.e. analog audio input. In my case this make a difference. Others want an external cheap usb sound card as a backup if the internal sound mutes. Then they have a usb option. Other need better sound, but to get better sound you may need to pay more. Don't expect the software to be Voice Over accessible. You can try and return if you do not damage the packaging to much.
Take care 18. juli 2014 kl. 17:37 skrev Annie Skov Nielsen <[email protected]>: Hi. This is an interesting thread. Now I ask a silly question. I have an external soundcard, this is the firewire mbox from avid, it is a very good sounding device, but rather inaccessible, so I will not recommend it. I have tried with some cheap devices, but I found the internal soundcard in the mac better or at least as good as these external sound cards. I do not say, that I do not recommend them, but are there any real difference. I can hear a difference on my inaccessible mbox, but what are your experiences here. Best regards Annie.
