I went into system prefs and reorganised the system keyboard shortcuts, so now
I have keyboard commander for my most common apps, but f12 brings up launchpad
which I use for everything else. You just type a few characters and it finds
apps containing them and you can pick what you want. Works perfectly. I wish
Apple would use my keyboard configuration as I also put Notification Center on
f11, just for ease of access. Again, really easy to do in system prefs,
keyboard, keyboard shortcuts, just go through all the categories disabling any
you don't want and moving things, ensuring you don't leave any conflicts.

Cheers
Dave
