Sometimes you just have to fall back onto cited assistance. I have an
80-year-old, technically illiterate old man for a neighbor and I just get him
on occasion to read the screen to me and if necessary position the mouse and I
do the clicking. It's old slow low-tech but it works.

There was a thread a while back about this and it was pointed out that pressing
the spacebar While positioned on the folder will check or uncheck the box.
Unfortunately, there's no way to here or to check with the checkbox state is.
You just have to go from memory, knowing what folders already exist on your
drive.
Also, this method will only work on top level folders, it won't work on the
subfolders.
