Hi, Go to apple/about this computer and all shall be revealed, methinks. In the window that pops up when you hit ”about this computer” from the apple menu there’s among other things a button that says ”system report”. Press this button and in the dialog that comes up you will find a lot of info about your system, your computer and what it supports. In my case, it revealed that i have an iMac from mid 2011 and what kind of memory etc it has and then there’s a section about bluetooth. For my machine it says that Bluetooth low energy is not supported and that Handoff is not supported either. Now someone mentioned on the list a couple days back that in order for Airdrop to work between a Mac and an iDevice, Bluetooth low energy has to be supported, which isn’t the case on my Mac. Check what your machine reports about these things. Hope that helps. /Krister
