Hmmm, do you have to buy the dongle? With the Macbook Air I had and one I bought for a friend, a dongle was included and did not have to be purchased in addition to the computer. But I do agree that I would rather have the ethernet port than the dongle if that is what you mean. If you do have to specifically purchase the dongle, I hope that is made clear when one goes to buy.
