I just received one of these machines for my church's secretary and it did not include the dongle. I did buy that for another $26. While there is wifi there, it does not provide access to financial systems and such so she has to plug into the wired network. I think the dongle came up as a suggestion in the order list along with printers and other accessories. I was pretty sure it wasn't included so I added that and a displayport to VGA dongle so she can hook up to a projector.

Hmmm, do you have to buy the dongle? With the Macbook Air I had and one I
bought for a friend, a dongle was included and did not have to be purchased in
addition to the computer. But I do agree that I would rather have the ethernet
port than the dongle if that is what you mean. If you do have to specifically
purchase the dongle, I hope that is made clear when one goes to buy.
