Hi, I think that there’s a bit of semantics confusion going on in this thread. It looks like you’re talking about reading these documents from within the browser as opposed to reading them using an assigned app. If you’re opening these work documents from within Safari or another browser, that’s likely why things aren’t working the same for you. As Chris mentioned, Word documents are not accessible within the Office suite of apps, although it is possible to read Word documents both in Pages and TextEdit. So, your easiest plan would be to download these resources instead of attempting to read them from the on-line version. To accomplish this, simply press option-return on the link for the specific document you wish to read. The option-return combination will download the linked document to your Downloads folder. You can then go to the Desktop or Finder, press cmd-shift-h to access your Home folder, open the Downloads folder then find the specific downloaded document. If you open Word documents from here, they should open in TextEdit and be readable.
