By the way I have just checked and not just Mac but windows versions of
Amazon Mp3 downloader are still available. The windows version installed
fine in my Fusion window.

I did this last year so did not do it again today. This is from
memory but I did not find it difficult though I had to go to system
preferences to make the Mac allow the installation of the app. Once
installed, on using the site I found that what happens on my system
is that you have to download a small don loader file first and then
open that in your downloads folder. Once this file is opened Amazon
Mp3 Down loader will download your music to an Amazon Mp3 Folder in
your Music Folder on the Mac.
It also gives the option to import into iTunes if you wish.

You need to use not the inaccessible Amazon app but instead
install the alternative Amazon Music Downloader.
Generally in checking out you need to reject the option to use
the Amazon app and select the option which says something like no
thanks use the Amazon Music Downloader.
