Hi all, I'm thinking of embracing tags even more, and creating an AppleVis folder where all my article drafts, podcast projects, and other content live. The thing is, this will be a smart folder, because my content currently resides in several different folders, including a shared Dropbox folder and an external hard drive. I'll use the AppleVis tag to pull things together, but here's my problem: duplicates.
If my external drive is connected, it includes some Time Machine backups and other spare folders. Anything tagged as being AppleVis will then appear in my folder, even if it's a backed up copy of something else on my internal drive. I'm looking at the results of a simple "tags: aplevis" smart folder right now, and I have at least two of almost everything showing up. How can I stop this from happening? Can I exclude Time Machine from the search somehow? Thanks for any help. -- Have a great day, Alex Hall [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
